Chris Koyanagi, PT, MPT
California State University of Long Beach

Chris Koyanagi graduated from CSULB with a BS in human physiology and Master's of Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, he rendered care for elderly patients and became the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation at a skilled nursing facility.  He then decided to work with the outpatient rehab population, as this was his true passion. Chris now runs and owns Skypark Physical Therapy with his wonderful staff. Chris' patients feel safe, informed and appreciate his intuitive abilites to perform restorative manual techniques. His laughter usually emanates from the gym, creating a less stressful therapy facility. He has lived an active lifestye and understands a wide range of the mechanics required for a multitude of sports.  "What I like most about our facility is that it actually allows the therapists to work one-on-one with each patient, evaluate their individual needs, get to know them and rehabilitate them appropriately.  The very last thing I would ever want is for my patients to feel like we are running a factory.  I went to school to learn these techniques, so I am going to use them." Chris enjoys rock climbing, hiking and spending time with his 2 children and wife.

Megan Murray, PT, DPT
California State University of Long Beach

Megan grew up in south Orange County and attended Merrimack College, just outside of Boston. At Merrimack, Megan played DII volleyball where they advanced to the conference championship tournament three times, and the NCAA tournament twice. In 2011, she graduated with her degree in Sports Medicine and concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. After graduation, Megan moved to Pittsburgh and worked as a physical therapy aide. After one year in Pittsburgh, she decided it was time to return back to California to pursue her goal of becoming a physical therapist. She received her DPT from CSULB in 2015, as part of the inaugural DPT class. During her time in PT school, Megan developed a passion for outpatient physical therapy. She loves being able to develop a personal relationship with her patients over their course of their therapy. As a high school and collegiate volleyball player, she has first-hand experience with athlete rehabilitation, and understands the importance of returning the athlete to their sport as quickly and safely as possible. In her free time, Megan enjoys line dancing, going to concerts, traveling and spending time with family.

Chris "CJ" Barbero, PTA
Cerritos College

Chris “CJ” Barbero received his Physical Therapy Assistant Associates Degree from Cerritos College. How he came to this profession was through watching his Father work on cars. He enjoyed the mechanical features, how various parts influenced the car’s actions, and how it worked as a system. From here, he wanted to find a career which had the same “mechanical” features and a complex system. He put this together along with wanting to help people and found the profession of Physical Therapy. CJ has graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills with a Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education: Pre-Physical Therapy. After graduating from CSUDH, he applied to Cerritos College and received his Physical Therapy Assistant Associates of Arts degree. He started at Skypark Physical Therapy as an aide in 2017 to 2020 in which he became a PTA. Upon attending various clinical experiences, he chose the outpatient setting. He enjoys helping his patients progress and watching them reach goals to a more healthy and “mobile” livelihood. Outside of work, CJ enjoys working out at the gym in which he utilizes the time to try the exercises provided to the patients and also come up with new ones on the way. He also enjoys taking his car to Auto-Club Speedway where he can race it safely and responsibly. When the time is right, he wants to go back to school and earn his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
